I saw a colleague struggling with a problem that I knew the answer to, so I offered to help.

I have two friends who I thought would be a good match, but instead of setting them up on a blind date, I invited them over in a group setting and love blossomed,.

I had an old computer that I no longer needed, but it was in excellent working order, so I gave it to a local kindergarten.

I have an elderly neighbour who is 92. He lives on his own and is pretty self sufficient, but most of his meals are store bought, so whenever I am making something for our freezer, I always make extra for him.

I was in the queue at the supermarket and a young man with some physical disabilities was also in the queue a few positions behind me. You could see that he was struggling with his basket and he only had a few items in it, so I approached the others in the queue and asked if it would be ok to let him go first.

There was a new waitress at our favourite local restaurant who got our order completely wrong but was so sweet and apologetic about it that we just ate what she gave us.

I was parking my car and saw another car trying to squeeze into a rather small parking space, so watched to see the outcome. I was horrified to see that the driver hit the wheel of the parked car next to it, panic and drive off. I took down their number plate details and left a note for the owner of the parked car relaying what I had seen and providing my contact details.

My next door neighbour is a single dad with two nice teenagers who have never caused any trouble. He went away for the weekend and left the kids in the house. Quite late on the Saturday night, I heard the sound of people arguing next door, so I went outside to see if I could help. There were a couple of lads who had a bit too much to drink and were arguing with the girl who lives there as she told them that they were drunk and to go home. As I am a man and much larger than them, my mere presence sent them packing......

I saw a woman from my office in Gap with her three young children. She was trying to buy some clothes for the kids, but they were much more interested in running around. I was about to stop for a coffee so asked her if she wanted me to take them for a snack so she could concentrate on shopping. I don't have kids myself and after the snack break did wonder how she did it.
